Andrew grew up in Montpelier, Vermont and was extremely active in many different sports.  He attended Connecticut College where he received his undergraduate degrees in Architectural Studies and Italian.  During those four years he focused on running as a half miler for the college track & field team, and cross country.  After completing college, Andrew returned home to Vermont where he has worked for Black River Design, Architects since the fall of 2007.  It wasn’t until the fall of 2009, after taking some time away from competition, that he began bike racing.  Quickly falling in love with the sport, he has spent the past two seasons racing and riding whenever and wherever the sport takes him.
